1. General Principles
- All successful transactions are final and non-refundable unless specifically mentioned in this policy.
- Refunds are applicable only in cases of failed transactions, duplicate debits, or service non-delivery.
- Refunds are processed back to your TapnPe wallet or original payment source, depending on the case.
2. Eligible Refund Scenarios
- Transaction Failure: Amount debited but the transaction fails due to technical/network issues.
- Service Not Delivered: Payment completed but service (e.g., recharge, bill payment) not delivered within the stipulated time.
- Duplicate Payment: Accidental multiple payments for the same order/service.
- Reversal by Partner Bank/Biller: If the receiving party rejects the transaction.
3. Non-Refundable Cases
- Incorrect details entered by the user (wrong account number, mobile number, biller ID, etc.).
- Transactions where service has been successfully delivered.
- Fraudulent activity or misuse of the TapnPe platform.
4. Refund Timeline
- Wallet refunds: Typically within 24–48 hours after verification.
- Bank account refunds: May take 3–7 working days depending on bank settlement cycles.
- UPI refunds: Usually within 24–72 hours but may vary based on NPCI and bank processing time.
5. Refund Process
- Contact TapnPe Support via in-app help section, email, or phone within 7 days of the transaction.
- Provide transaction details: Transaction ID, amount, date/time, and reason for refund request.
- Our team will verify the claim with internal logs and/or partner systems.
- If eligible, refund will be initiated to your wallet or original payment source.
6. Disputes & Escalations
If you are not satisfied with the resolution, you may escalate the matter to our grievance redressal officer. Contact details are available in the app’s “Contact Us” section. Further escalation to regulatory bodies (e.g., RBI Ombudsman) is possible as per applicable laws.
